LOFT ACADEMY – Comedy and Monologues

We are very happy to introduce a new in-house concept!

What is Loft Academy?
Loft Academy was born with the objective of training neighbors and people interested in different topics with weekly class formats.
One month, four classes, two hours per class!

Workshop “Comedy and monologues” by Gaby Gomez.
Every Tuesday
Start date: March 1st
Classes: March 5, March 12, March 19 and March 26.

Program:

Class 1)
Introduction to the genre and basic concepts of stand-up comedy.
Exploration of what it takes to do monologues and key characteristics.
Focus on attitude technique and how it influences what the comedian says.

Class 2)
Creative and organizational technique, exploring the use of digging in stand-up.
Discussion on the status of the comedian and how to manage the audience.

Class 3)
Pure humor resources.
Practical exercises to apply the concepts learned.

Class 4)
Deepening in the creation and execution of gags.
Guidance on how to bring gags to the stage effectively.

We conclude with a short monologue to take to the stage.

To reserve a place in the course, 50% of the cost of the workshop must be paid by bank transfer and the remaining amount must be paid in the first class. Places are limited and if the minimum number of participants is not reached, the date will be postponed to be agreed upon.
