From Loft, we are joining as partners to promote a fantastic initiative alongside three leading figures in the fields of culture, travel, language, and community.
In this guided tasting, you’ll sample Argentine, Uruguayan, and organic mate and learn to distinguish between them just as you would with specialty coffee or wine. History, ritual, and nuances in every sip.
We’ll also explore the different ways to enjoy it: from the traditional shared mate to modern energy drinks with yerba.
A social and hands-on event where you’ll meet travelers, expats, and locals who share your curiosity.

🎤Who is hosting the event?
Mates Can Ramos – The go-to store in Barcelona for all things Argentine. Meat, mate, and the culture of the Río de la Plata in the Born, Clot, and Eixample neighborhoods. They know mate because they live it.
Kiaora Travel – Group travel agency based in Spain. They organize hassle-free adventures for those who want to discover the world with new people.
