Chris Groves returns home with Find Your Funny

Something we love is when a project that we have previously received returns to Loft 🙂 Since last season, Chris, with the Stand Up workshop, is part of the different proposals that take place in our installations.

What does the workshop consist of?
Chris bets on a new version of his quarterly workshops. A pleasant training, but at the same time challenging and fun, oriented to those who are looking for their inner comedian. Whether you have experience in comedy, or if you want to take your first steps in the world. Chris transfers his knowledge to the classroom based on his own professional experience and adapting different techniques from renowned international comedy coaches, thus being able to create an experience that combines theory, practice and creative writing with a lot of playfulness in between.

What can you expect from the workshop?
If you want to gain confidence speaking in public, improve your presentations and make your speeches engaging, at Find Your Funny Chris will guide you through the basics of why we laugh and how to write a joke, exploring ways to find and develop funny material, building stage presence and performance skills, and how to take all your funny ideas and put them together into a stand up routine.

Programming and scheduling:
The course consists of three blocks of workshops.
Each block consists of four weekly two-hour sessions. You can join per month independently!
