One of the Brazilians in the family and at the same time a citizen of the world. He has been “touring” the world for some time now and it seems that the chosen destination (for the moment) is Barcelona. And specifically, a fixed table at Loft Consell 😉
As a good Brazilian he shares some hobbies such as, futbol (obvious), running, exploring new cities and beaches. On a professional level, he is oriented to teaching, research, mathematics, statistics, causality, economics and immigration. As you can imagine, he will always have something to tell.
Caio tells us a about his background, “I am a Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Economics and Public Policy from UCLA with a full scholarship from the Lemann Foundation.” He currently works for Blue Orange Digital, an American Data Science and Machine Learning consulting firm.
“Before joining graduate school, I helped build from scratch a Brazilian FinTech (NASDAQ: STNE) in the payments industry and also worked as an education consultant in big private schools in Brazil. In parallel, I designed from scratch a low-cost online GRE / GMAT math preparation course (MePrepara) for low-income students in Brazil with 140+ math videos and exercises with solutions.”
